"What Cancer Cannot Do"

This is a poem that I found in 2002, when I was on chemotherapy. I really liked it a lot, and it is so true! With all the cancer recently among family members, and with my step-father's death a few days ago, it bears remembering this.

"What Cancer Cannot Do"

Cancer is so limited --

It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit

Yes its sure something we have to remember daily. Plus the saying *I have cancer but it doesn't have me!*
We are so much more then cancer.
Thoughts and Prayers.
